Well I just got out of my dictation class. We started notating the top and bottom voices of 4 part chords. I still seem to be way ahead of everyone in my class, but that's a good thing. I got my test back in that class today also, I GOT A 98! But I felt stupid because I put a perfect 5th when it was diminished 5th (or tritone). I couldn't believe it, I have the best ear in that class and I mistook tritone for a P5! For most of you who don't know a perfect 5th is one half step higher then a tritone, but they have a very different sound.
Anyway I guess I should be thankful that I got a 98 as opposed to a 79 in my theory class.
So today I am going to try and buy the 2nd Haibane-Renmai DVD. It came out 2 days ago so I don't think I will be able to get it. And because of that I might end up cleaning my (gasp) room! It looks as if transients have been rummaging through it in search of all my famous artifacts from childhood. Or I'm just dirty.
I was sooooooo cold on my way to school today! I had to ride my motorcycle because yesterday The Shizzolator decided to break it's stearing column! I was all like "my car totally won't turn." Just like that but with the cheerleader girl head shake and everything....moving right along now.
Why does summer go by so fast but winter takes years? Hey! That could be a good topic for a song. And a band named Everlasting Winter could do it!
And now to present Sizzoria's killer deal! I am getting a PowerMac G4 with 1024 MB of ram and a MIDI card. With SoundTrack and FinalCut Express! And I am getting all this for just over $1000! Yes it truly is an amazing deal!
