3 days until I get FFX-2!
Ever have one of those days when your eyes just burn. Yeah I didn't slepp last night, for more the an hour and a half. So needless to say, I don't feel great.
I got a 74 on my theory test. I'm content with that. Especially because I got almost all the chords correct. I should probably work on... i dunno something productive. Like selling stuff so I can get my UEB (upright electric bass). Yo wouldn't believe how much I want this bass. I need it like a crack addict needs crack. The only difference is that I will die if I don't get my fix. So all I need to do is get 10 people to give me $100 and I will be willing to take the rest out of savings for it. Because it is a good 2-3 thousand bucks! Maybe more!
I need creative ideas for things to sell on eBay. I am going to sign my old shoes and try to sell them. I am also selling my rubber string bass and my defretted fender. And I will list my brothers bass with my amp as a combo in the local paper. They all should sell fairly easily keeping in mind that Christmas is coming. After I get all that stuff sold I might have $400 if I am lucky. My mom said that I can just start selling all the crap we have laying around the house that would end up at good will anyway. So give me 2 months and I will have my Allegro BSX on order. I am tempted not to go to Cali. because it will cost a minimum of $200. I really want this bass, but on the other hand the youth pastors conference is such an awesome time, but on the flip side $200 is a decent amount of money towards my bass. I don't know what to do. I am also thinking of listing this thing on eBay. The description will be as follows:
You are not bidding on anything per-say. You are simply helping out a college student. I am an 18 year-old student at UNM studying music composition. I play Bass, Piano, and guitar. And I need to get about $3000 (ouch) together for a new ueb (upright electric bass). I am not usually one to beg, but I don't have time to get a job. I barely have enough time and money to take bass lessons.
I will send the "winner" a handwritten (i have bad hand writing) letter and a song written, recorded , and produced by myself. Don't put money down if you will not pay. Also if you think this is a scam I encourage to contact me. I realize that this sounds like a scam but if I were going to scam people, I would pick a better way to do it. I know that in general most people are nice and willing to help out. So I am just asking for help.
Does that sound like a good eBay listing to get money? I know that I will probably get some nasty emails and won't get any money, but I am hoping that some really nice rich guy will just put down like $1000 or something like that. Go ahead an comment, tell me if you would bid on that.
