I have come to the realization that lyrics are extremely personal. No matter how hard you try to write lyrics that don't spill your heart out they only turn out good if you write from your heart. Thus is the reason that people think the lyrics they write are stupid. Your own life seems boring to yourself but to someone else it may be the most touching, amazing, indifferent, incredible, interesting, or boring thing to hear about. Most people don't want to share things they write because they might be afraid that people will make fun of them or be appalled at them or even be scared of them. But anyhow, a lyricist must be able to get over that and not care what anyone else thinks. Because they will respect you for doing something that they don't. So I have decided to put some lyrics that I wrote up today. Please tell me what you think. I think they sound way cool with the guitar line I made up too. So without further distraction, here is "Memories."(I know it is a stupid title, it is very stereo typical)
