I have decided that I'm against mothers day. As a son I think that if you want to show your mom that you love her, pick an arbitrary day to do it. It would mean more if it were totally a surprise to her as opposed to mothers day where you are almost required to do something nice for your mom. It just doesn't make any sense! The same goes for fathers day as well.
