I know, it's been a while. But not much has happened that I want to tell the whole freaking world about. Maybe I'm becoming more English, I don't want to put everything up for everyone to see. I could make stuff friends only but than most of the people who, I think and assume, read this no longer could because they don't have lj accounts. The bums.

In any case I went to a pub the other night. I think it was last Wednesday. It was really good. They had a jazz jam night. It reminded me of the Blue Dragon, but with more beer and better music. I was humbled by the bass player. He was on an electric five string and when he was warming up he sounded really bad. Maybe it's just because I'm way batter at improve than he was. But he sounded like he had only be playing for a year if that. When the music started, however, he was tearing it up! He could walk better than I ever could. I was pleasantly surprised. The best part was that all the musicians were really chill and humble. You could tell that they were just there to have a good time. And they were all very eager to let other people play. Maybe so they could get a drink...

I'm in the process of applying to Mallorca, Spain for next semester. If I get my application in in time so I am guaranteed a bed I will tour around Europe all summer. There is about 100 days between the end of this semester and the beginning of next. I'm planning on buying a bike and bumming around for those 100 days. How amazing will that be. I will have just enough money to eat. I'm really pumped about it. Go around France, the Netherlands (I have to see Amsterdam!), Italy, maybe get down towards Croatia, backtrack to Spain, if I have time check out Portugal, then catch a ferry to Mallorca! Although those pesky Alps are in the way a little bit. I want nothing to do with them. I guess I just have to tackle one problem at a time. First things first, I need a bike.
