Last night I hung out with a bunch of construction workers in front of the building they are working on. The one who plays erhu let me try. The people who say it's so hard should try upright bass or violin. Within 5 minutes I was on my way to playing a real song.
Soon enought I'll have one of my own.
What made it so easy was that the hair on the bow is threaded between the two strings. So to play the lower string you press in, to play the higher string you push out. So much easier than trying to get the correct angle down!
I love this place.
but reading your blog makes me motivated...
constructions people choto (little) smell ne? how do you deal with the smell??

I was in california on a beach, and me and some friends were taking an exam. I was wearing lots of clothes though and needed to pee and find a calculator. So i left and changed my clothes after i found the toilets and peed and found a calculator (yes, all in the loo!)
Then on my way back i bumped into you, and your brother and his wife. It was odd becuase every time we tried to talk about something, you were trying to impress your bro, and acting really nonchalant towards the fact that we bumped into each other on a beach in cali. Your brother asked me if i was english to which i (obviously) replied in the affirmative and he was like, if you're english you'll know you're supposed to be in an exam right now, and you were telling him to lay off me...
Man, this dream was boring and exceedingly long. Not to mention really random.
Anyway, I'm glad that you're talented :)
