As many of you know I'm participating in NaNoWriMo. In other words I'm writing a 50,000 page book this month. It's proving to be fairly difficult, but not impossible. I'm up to 12,025 words and plan to break 15,000 tonight, 20,000 by tomorrow night. I hope.

My favorite drink to write with had just been some perfectly brewed puer tea. (It's an aged black tea. Mine is 7 years old.) I don't really like alcohol. But in talking with some other participants in NaNoWriMo I learned about a drink one of them made up. He calls it literary tea.

It's one cup of strongly brewed black tea. Add honey and lemon to taste and finish it off with a shot of whiskey. The whiskey mellows you out while the caffeine keeps you awake. I'm telling you, divine.

So you have to write a 50,000 word book in one month? hmm. I wonder how that would be. About how many pages of writing does that usually amount to? Gambate ne! That tea sounds like a nice aid. Take care friend and keep serving the One who is love.
