.小流氓 (xiao liumang).

I've talked about how insane my cat is before. I can't get over it though. Her peculiar behavior astounds me every day.

When I get home I can expect her to act in one of three ways. Either she will come trotting up meowing, asking for food. If she doesn't do that she will hunch over, stick her hair up, and hiss at me like I'm the Devil himself. Or she will just ignore me like any other stuck up cat. I never quite understood why I would get the second reaction.

Until yesterday.

I came home and she hissed at me! Well, when I turned on the light a little light in my head went on simultaneously. Every time she hisses at me it's because I catch her in some unscrupulous act. In this case she had gotten hold of my Oreos. I had six Oreos left, after I chased her away I had torn up Oreo bag and three and a half cookies.

Which brings me to her eating habits. This little beast will consume anything. She loves to steal my snacks. Any cookies, chips, candy, and other delicious snack is fair game for her. But it doesn't end there. One time she snagged the bone from one of my chicken wings. I never found it. She dipped her paw into my coffee to have a little taste. She wouldn't leave me alone until I let her try some strawberries a few days ago. The only thing she won't eat are vegetables. Oh, and she absolutely loves chocolate. A cat after my tastes indeed.

She doesn't try to sharpen her claws on my couch or bed. No, she goes after the wall next to my bathroom.

She won't get in bed with me anymore. For that I am thankful. But if I leave my laptop open on my bed when I go to sleep she will sleep on the keyboard. Right when I wake up she will use the keyboard as traction to spring off my bed and pretend she wasn't up there with me. I'm afraid she is going to tear the keys off soon.

She can balance better on her back legs than any other cat I've ever seen. Peeking up on to the table while I'm eating.

I've said before that she can't jump. So she tries to climb up on the kitchen counter by grabbing the handles on the cupboards.

And I'm sure this is only the beginning for her. I can't imagine what she will be like in a year.

Boy cats are so much easier to deal with. Much like real life. My cat is totally a girl. Extreme mood swings, illogical behavior, ridiculous eating habits, etc. (Not to offend any of the readers that are of the female persuasion.)

When all is said and done I still miss my old cat. Here he is looking all noble like a proper cat should — not like that nutter in the picture above.
