The first week of classes is over. It's still really chaotic. I'm hoping that next week things will calm down. Once that happens I can deal with lesson plans and all that jazz.

The building is a stinking icebox though! It's really cold outside still and the office is colder than it is outside. We go outside to warm up, that's just wrong.

I teach five different classes. 7a, 8b, 9b, 10b, and 10e. For English they separate the students into different levels, a, b, c, d, and e. My 7a class is really a joy to teach. They enjoy English and are motivated to study... half the time. My 10e class is a whole different story. They sit there staring at me with a look that says, "Oh, so you think you're going to make me learn English? Just try it, pal."

I get on the bus at 7:10 in the morning and get to school at about 8:10. School starts at 8:30 and finishes at 4:20. So I get on the bus to go home around 4:40 and get home at about 5:15. For the next 5 weeks I'm teaching an after school class until 6:10 every Monday. The next five Mondays will be long.

Overall I think it's going to be a great year.
