I have been on another one of my just-want-to-get-up-and-go trips for the last week. I love it here, don't get me wrong. I know this is where God want's me and all that good stuff, but I don't think I will ever be content until I can just carry what I own on my back and be off. In my itch to leave I started reading around on digihitch.com and got some more crazy ideas. I also found this couple who saved up, quit their jobs, sold everything they had, took their bicycles and hit the road. But they had a plan. They are going around the word! No joke, they are in Asia now and they have been on the road since March 2002! I want to do that! They are documenting their traveled online at downtheroad.org and it is so interesting. I don't think there is anything I would be happier doing. You can see a map of their tentative place on their website as well. I really want to do something like that.
