Oh man! I just had the best Romans class. We didn't even get into Romans. It was all about how the jews got into Rome and how they because Christians. Essentially it was just a basic background to Christianity and Judaism in Rome. So good.
The other class I think I'll love is Hebrew. Not the book, but it's an introduction to Biblical Hebrew. So good. It's going to be way harder than my Greek class last semester though.
I found out I'm working in the coffee shop! That's fantastic. I can't wait until I start. So good. And even better is that the coffee shop is in Walmgate Bar. Life is good. I'm going to get to say I worked in a coffee shop in a national monument in York. How great is that?
I'm also taking Mark, 1 Corinthians, The Christian Walk, Men's Discipleship, and doing Chuck Tracks. I think there's more but I'm forgetting what it is.
Dave Sylvester, the pastor for Calvary Chapel York, teaches The Christian Walk and spent the whole class giving us his story up until now. It's pretty amazing. Apparently he was an amazing guitarist. Like really amazing amazing. It's fun when he leads worship. Anyway I really like him. And the story of how they got everything out here is amazing. Over the last 10 years God has practically just given them 3 million dollars of property out here. They own almost the whole block out here and rent Walmgate Bar from York. It's glorious.
It's cold here, but I haven't been cole more then twice. The flats are all really warm and my jackets are working great. I can say that I am super thankful for my scarf... and my smiths shopping bag. You have to buy shopping bags here, They are only about 9p but I like to fill up my cloth Smith's bag. It's fun.
York is amazing.
