Everything starts today. I'm pretty excited about it, but more excited about other stuff.
Last night I went to a recording studio. Nothing amazing, but it was all very nice. I put down some bass for Tim. He has sort of a happy rap style. I like it a lot. We are going in 3 more times. Also at the studio we had dinner with the studio guy, Nick, and his wife. The food was so good! During dinner I tried goya. Goya is this fruit or vegetable or something that is pretty bitter and foreigners are not supposed to like. But I thought it was delicious. It super super good for you too. Like eating vitamins. Then their son tried to find things I wouldn't like because he was impressed that I liked goya. He ended up opening some natto. It was gross but not as bad as I expected.
I think just in my first week here I have tried almost everything that foreigners are supposed to hate. Good deal.
You have no idea how happy I am that I'm already doing music. Not church music, but other music. You know, performing type music. It's so rad. Learning the japanese worship songs is a blast too.
