So the typhoon Shanshan hit this morning. That means that the weather conditions are TC-1. So all the military bases are locked down. Everything else functions normally in town though. Okinawa is so well set up for typhoons that unless you have to hang on to something in order to stand up business goes on as normal. I guess a little wind never hurt anyone. The church I minister at on Sundays is mostly military people, so if it's still TC-1 tomorrow morning I don't have to go to Calvary Chapel Okinawa. I'll get to go to Calvary Chapel Ginowan. I kind of hope that is the case. Only time will tell!
